For employers and adjusters

What you get from us

Send a referral or ask a question. One contact answers, in English or Spanish, and you hear back in writing.

  • One person to call

Our case coordinator takes referrals, checks the payer and schedules the first visit.

  • A written functional test

What the worker can do now on the job's tasks, task by task.

  • A job-task review

We ask which tasks matter and what each one asks of the body.

  • Updates to the people the case names

Written updates, as the rules allow, so no one has to chase the clinic.

  • A return-to-work plan

Which tasks to start with, which to change for now and how to build up.

  • On-site programs

Coaching and task reviews at your workplace, described below.

On-site programs

We come to you. Each program is planned with your supervisor around your tasks and your shifts.

  • Lift and carry coaching

A physical therapist shows crews how to set up, lift and carry loads they handle every day.

  • Warm-ups at the start of a shift

A short routine your crew can lead once we have taught it.

  • Task and workstation review

We watch the work and suggest changes to the setup, the pace or the way a task is done.

  • Return-to-work check-ins

A therapist checks in at the site while a worker builds back up, with the worker's OK.

Questions from employers and adjusters

How do I send a referral?

Use the form below, call, or send it by email to the case coordinator. Tell us who the worker is, who sent the referral and who receives updates.

Who decides the worker's care?

The worker's doctor and your state's rules. We follow the referral and the rules, and we explain what applies.

What do you send us?

Written updates to the people the case names, as the rules allow, and the functional test and return-to-work plan when they are done.

Can you see a worker before they are back at work?

Yes. Many workers begin with testing or work conditioning while off work or on light duty.

Send a referral or ask a question

Our case coordinator answers on the next working day. For a worker's health details, use the referral from the doctor.
